Glowhealthy Skincare("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights you have over it. It is designed to meet the requirements of Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

2. What data we collect

• Order information: your name, email address, phone number, and delivery address, which you provide at checkout.
• Newsletter: your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
• Contact requests: your name, email, and the content of your message when you contact us.
• Account data: your email and login credentials if you create an account.
• Payment data: mobile money / payment details, which are collected and processed directly by our payment provider (Hubtel). We do not store your full payment credentials.
• Technical data:we store your shopping cart in your browser's local storage so it persists between visits. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (see "Cookies & analytics" below). We do not use advertising cookies.

3. Why we use your data (Legal basis)

• To fulfil your order — process payment, arrange delivery, and send order confirmations (legal basis: performance of a contract).
• To contact you about your order — for example to confirm delivery details or shipping costs (contract / legitimate interest).
• To send marketing emails — only if you subscribe to our newsletter (legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
• To respond to your enquiries (legitimate interest).

4. Who we share it with

We only share your data with service providers that help us run the store. These act as our processors and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes:

• Supabase — database hosting for orders and subscribers.
• Vercel — website hosting and image storage.
• Hubtel — payment processing.
• Google (Gmail) — sending transactional and order emails.
• Google Analytics — website usage measurement, only with your consent.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of essential storage items (such as your shopping cart) that are needed for the site to work. These do not require consent.

We also use Google Analytics to measure how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes limited data (such as your IP address and pages viewed). We only load Google Analytics after you acceptvia our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. 6. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as necessary to fulfil the order and to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. Unpaid or cancelled orders are removed automatically. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see your rights below).

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate data;
• request deletion of your data;
• object to or restrict how we use your data;
• withdraw consent for marketing at any time; and
• request a copy of your data in a portable format.

8. Security

We use reputable providers with encryption in transit and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.
